What Is A Will?

A Will can dictate who gets What

A Will is a document in which you can say how and who will benefit from your property and possessions (your Estate) after your death, who should look after your children, that are under the age of 18, at the date of your death and who will be responsible for making sure your wishes have been followed.

You can also indicate your wishes regarding your business and your funeral arrangements and who you do not wish to benefit from your estate.

You can make changes to your Will as your circumstances changes as many times as you wish (provided you do not lack mental capacity).

There are strict formalities that need to be followed to make a valid Will. Tearing up or crossing out an existing Will does not revoke it.
